From Woodhaven, Michigan, Dr. Erik earned his bachelors degree from Kalamazoo College where he was a part of the men's soccer team. He traveled to Arizona where he received a Master's degree in Biomedical Science from Midwestern University. Dr. Erik remained at Midwestern University's College of Dental Medicine where he completed his dental education and met the love of his life and now wife, Dr. Christen.
In his spare time, Dr. Erik likes spending time with his family, golfing, and enjoying everything the upstate has to offer.
Originally from the Chicago area, Dr. Christen received her bachelor’s degree in Pre-dentistry from the University of Dayton. She completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. To further her education in dentistry, she completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Mesa, Arizona.
In her leisure, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, and dog, Roger. Erik and Christen welcomed their first child, Grant Michael, earlier this year and love watching him grow!
Drs. Erik and Christen are both members of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentists and the South Carolina Dental Association. Both doctors are committed to continuing their educations by devoting time to a wide variety of courses to advance their education in all aspects of dentistry to better serve their patient needs.
Jennifer is a dental hygienist. Originally from Pinckney, Michigan and has a well-rounded background in dentistry. After graduating from hygiene school she moved to the upstate and has been practicing for 21 years. Jennifer has a passion for dental hygiene which is conveyed by her desire to educate and instruct each patient regarding their decisions about their oral health and treatment options. She continues to gain dental knowledge by attending continuing education classes to be current with dental information and technology.
In her leisure time she enjoys being with her family and sons, Joshua and Jacob, her love for water you can find her boating, on the dock, and enjoying sunsets. She also likes spending time with friends at the lake, cooking with the herbs grown in her garden and planting flowers. She has two dogs, Bob and Max as well as two cats, Moe and Astro.
Miranda is our dental assistant and she is from Anderson, South Carolina. She has over twenty years of experience as a dental assistant and has more energy now than ever. She received her dental assisting training in Arizona and has since been certified by AnMed Health as a radiologic technologist. Miranda has a knack for making all of our patients feel welcome and comfortable throughout their treatment. She strives to stay educated on techniques and dental materials to better serve our patients by attending dental related lectures and courses.
Her free time is spent with family and friends on the lake, raising chickens, and playing board games. She has two sons, AJ and Stone and a daughter, Ashley. In addition to her chickens, she has four birds, and a dog, Maggie.
Paula joined our growing dental practice as our patient care coordinator in September 2017. She has worked in all aspects of the dental field and brings 20 years of experience to the practice. Paula will without a doubt work diligently to provide you with any information necessary to create a welcoming, comfortable dental appointment. Paula is very passionate about the positive impact quality dentistry has on patients self-esteem and overall health.
Paula is a Pendleton, SC native and enjoys spending time with her family and her English Mastiffs.
Chelsea is a dental hygienist who is originally from Indiana, but grew up living all over the United States. She graduated from Lakeland Community College' dental hygiene program in 2015 as the president of her class. Chelsea strives to make people feel welcome and comfortable during their visits.
She enjoys furthering her education in dental hygiene by taking courses focusing on new therapies and technology available to better serve the needs of our patients.
Chelsea lives in Greenville and her free time consists of hiking, reading, cooking, and exploring new restaurants in the Upstate. She has two cats, Thibodaux and Touille.
